By utilising DWR-treated Nikwax Duology - a close weave microfiber that effectively blocks wind while allowing airflow - the fabric can withstand the harsh winds and rain typically lurking at altitude. When paired with an insulating midlayer, the jacket can easily handle winter escapades as well. Alpinist-friendly features also abound - there’s a wire-lined, helmet-compatible hood alongside high-set hand pockets, allowing for use with a harness. Underarm ventilation zips allow for rapid-fire heat-dumping and a drawcord hem helps eliminate draughts.
